Protestant Church in Kaduna Attacked by Suicide Bomber.

A suicide bomber yesterday made his way into the St. Andrew's Protestant Church, Jaji in Kaduna. A military spokesperson who said that the attack was carried out with vehicles described it as surprising and embarrassing.The first vehicle which was a bus rammed into the church and exploded while a Toyota Camry packed outside the church followed suit in the explosion after about ten minutes.Over eleven persons were feared dead with several others injured
The sad event took place when the first set of worshippers were about to depart after the first Sunday service.The attack was purportedly aimed at the unsuspecting worshippers as they were coming out of the church.It was gathered that the vehicles were driven into the military cantonment through the bush thereby circumventing the various military checkpoints on the way that leads to the cantonment and then the church.
The main building of the church was not affected but a few people died and many were also injured.
